The Car Finance company DSG has expanded its offices into Yorkshire with the Ilkley-based Magnitude Finance.
This sees DSG reach its 25th anniversary, and aims the new services at luxury car buyers with budgets in excess of £50,000.
The Magnitude Finance Director Tim Marlow said;
“There is growing demand among wealthy individuals who expect bespoke finance solutions to fund their luxury vehicles.
“We finance cars with a balance of £20,000 to over £1m, so clients expect the funding packages to be equally sophisticated and bespoke to them.
“We tailor the borrowing arrangements specifically to their needs offering a concierge approach to make the process as easy as possible utilising our experience to advise on the best funding options for each client.”
Another Car company, the Meridian Motor Group also have plans to expand into the North West with Hyundai planning for a dealership in Greater Manchester.
Managing director, Mark Robinson, said:
“It’s been a remarkable year for Meridian and the Stockport acquisition is part of the final stage of a planned but rapid phase of growth that has seen us develop a significant Hyundai presence in Greater Manchester in under two years. I am extremely pleased to be able to start work on our Stockport Centre and to be able to bring new jobs and investment to the area as well as further developing our relationship with a great brand.
“After growing at such a pace, it is important that, once a couple more planned acquisitions are complete, the business enters a phase of consolidation to ensure that we are able to maintain the strong values and focus on customer service that has made the Vantage name a success. However if the right opportunities develop, we won’t rule out further acquisitions in the future as long as they add value to the business.”
