The world famous Manchester United is reported to be ready to sell off a significant stake in the club to Singapore investors.
This, maybe in an effort to pay off some of their debts that total up to a reputed £515m plus.
It is not entirely clear why the club has chosen to place a listing application with the Singapore Stock Exchange, however, it’s widely estimated that selling stakes in the club in these markets may be able to earn it anywhere from £400 to £600 million.
It is thought that the club wants to close out the listing by the end of 2011.
